Download MultiMediaPhile Basic
Edition
Minimum System Requirements:
Please Note: MultiMediaPhile is
not supported on the Windows 98 platform.
Please ensure your computer system meets or exceeds the following minimum system
requirements:
Because MultiMediaPhile is built using the latest
programming technologies from Microsoft, it requires the Microsoft .Net Framework
version 1.1, MDAC 2.8 (Microsoft Data Access Components) SP1, and the JET Database
Engine 4.0 SP8. If any of these components don't exist then the setup program will
automatically download and install them for you. Newer computer systems
pre-bundled with
Windows XP may already contain most of the required components.
Important: MultiMediaPhile also requires
Microsoft .Net Framework 1.1 SP-1. If you don't yet have this update, the first
time you run MUltiMediaPhile, it will prompt you and give you the option of
automatically downloading and installing this service pack. This update fixes
security and stability issues found in the last release of the .Net Framework
(version 1.1).
Download the Setup Package:
Before starting the installation process you should save all work and close
all open programs. During this process your computer may be restarted several
times as the required components are installed. Please be patient as this
process could take a considerable amount of time depending on the speed of your
Internet connection and how many components are required. This process may take up to 30 minutes on an older computer system.
Click the link below to begin the installation process. When your web browser asks if you want to Save or Run the download, answer

Need Codecs?
MultiMediaPhile works with your existing codecs and doesn't install any of
its own. If you have tried but can't play back video files on your computer, you
might need to install a set of codecs. The most typical codec you will need
supports a video file format called AVI (Audio/Video Interleave). If after the
installation, MultiMediaPhile doesn't play .Avi or .Mpg files, you can return to
this page and click on one of the following links below to download a set of
codecs.
